She was predeceased by: her parents, John Carter and Emma Pearman Carter; her husband James Elwood Strader; and her son Craig Strader. She is survived by: her children, Debra S. Lawson of King and Donnie Earl Strader of Greensboro; and her granddaughters, Donna Hall, Robin Strader and Ashlynn Strader. She is also survived by five great grandchildren.
