We announce the death of Virginia Greer of Reidsville, North Carolina, who passed away on September 19, 2026, at the age of 74. Virginia will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Virginia will be remembered for the impact she had on the lives of those around her. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew Virginia will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture her life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. Virginia’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued her companionship.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Evans and Mildred Evans; and her brother Richard Evans. She is survived by: her sons, Brian Greer (Amy) of Greensboro, NC and Eric Greer (Julie) of Reidsville, NC; her grandchildren, Karys Greer, Asa Greer and Sloane Greer; and her brother John Evans of Wilmington, NC. She is also survived by friends who were more like sisters.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Woodmont United Methodist Church (1926 Richardson Dr, Reidsville, NC 27320).
