He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Lewis and Billie Jean Webster Ellington; and his sisters, Karen and Marla. He is survived by: his wife Carol Sawyers Ellington; his son Walter Lewis "Trey" Ellington III (Carla) of Pfafftown; his stepson Tony Lee Walker (Christy) of Reidsville; his grandchildren, Alyssa Ellington, Summer Ellington, Tatum Ellington, Lennex Walker, Austin Walker and Paige Edwards (Bryson); and his great grandchildren, Ruby Walker, Daniel Walker and Raelynn Walker.
