She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Melvin Cheek and Pearl Duke Cheek; her son Mel Eberhart; her siblings, William Cheek (Helen), Melvin Cheek (Susie), Dennis Cheek (Ann), Inez Sparrow (Waldo), Ruby Blaylock (Fred), Edna Duncan (Lewis), Alice Martindale (Bruce), Lucille Bauthues (Ralph) and Blanche Cheek; and her brother-in-law Joe Hoenig.
She is survived by: her husband Jimmie Eberhart; her children, Jamye Smith (Frank) and Robert Eberhart (Michelle); her grandchildren, Wyatt Eberhart and Emily Jordan (Bradley); and her siblings, Lois Hoenig and Ben Cheek (Ellen). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of one's choice.
