With sadness, we share the passing of Martha Bellamy Bailey in Rex, North Carolina. Martha, born on August 30, 1927, passed away on September 29, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Bailey and Harriett Alston Bailey; and her brother John Wayles Bailey. She is survived by: her cousin Betsy Haywood; her daughter Julia (Kyle); her grandchildren, Bellamy and Graham; her great grandchild Haywood (Megan); her sons, Freddie and Grant; Lindsay, Landon, Zachary and Eleanor.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Oakwood Cemetery (701 Oakwood Ave, Raleigh, NC 27601).
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Church of the Good Shepherd, 121 Hillsborough Street, Raleigh, NC 27603.
