It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maverine Baker in Rex, North Carolina, who passed away on December 11, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ulas Calvin Clifton and Viola Laura King; and her husband James E. Baker, Sr.. She is survived by: her son Jimmy C Baker; her brothers, Raymond G. Clifton and Leamon E. Clifton; and her siblings' children, Tony Creech, Kelly Narron and Tammy Denning.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Way Church.
