She was predeceased by: her parents, Jake Good and Bessie Crowder Good; her husband Dennis Arvin Lucas, Jr.; her granddaughter Shawna Leigh Jones; her great grandchild Brielle Jean Jaime; and her siblings, Harlon Good, Charles Good, Gordon Good, Wanda Good Mitchell and Carol Good Patterson.
She is survived by: her children, Tina Gay Lawson (Terry David Lawson), Arvin Ray Lucas (Stephanie), Lynette Sue Williams and Clint Eric Lucas; and her sisters, Betty Slawter and Sheila Kennison. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mackie Funeral Service (35 Duke St, Granite Falls, NC 28630). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
