She was predeceased by: her parents, Walt Whittington and Ella Bumgarner; her husband Odis Junior Dula; her sisters, Lillie Holman Church, Novella Strong, Effie Mae Kirby, Wilma Jean Elliott and Dewie "Duke" Eckard; her son-in-law Kevin Davis Sr.; and her grandsons, Kevin Davis Jr. and Richard "Rich" Pope III.
She is survived by: her daughters, Wanda McKinnon (Tom) of Connelly Springs, Sandy Stallings (Larry) of Hudson, Mitzi Mull (Mike) of Rhodhiss, Sherry Gaines of Connelly Springs and Dona Harbin (Steve) of Statesville; and her grandchildren, Kristin Watson, Justin McKinnon (Stephanie), Todd Stallings (Carla), Tracey Stallings Darin Gaines (Traci), Tara Pitts (Greg), Marty Davis, Natalie Davis Croland, Matt Mull (Tara) and Swaid Bailey.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Rhodhiss (200 Park Ave, Rhodhiss, NC 28667). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at the Fairview Cemetery (800 17th St NW, Hickory, NC 28601).
