We announce the death of Edith Tante Edwards (Rich Square, North Carolina), who passed away on June 16, 2026, at the age of 99. Edith will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas R. Rogers and Katie Pridgen Rogers. She is survived by: her children, Judy Melton of Greenville and Albert Tante, Jr. (Charlotte) of Wilson; and her sisters, Marie Brown and Peggy Wooten. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
