He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Shaver and Artie Treece Shaver Earnhardt; and his siblings, Kenneth Shaver, Roy Shaver, Clara Mae Shaver Basinger and Floyd Shaver.

He is survived by: his wife Kirksey Michael Shaver; and his son Kelvin Shaver of Richfield. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

The family requests that memorials be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
