She was predeceased by: her parents, William Russell Tippett and Bess Alice Tippett; and her husband Roger Duane Saunders. She is survived by: her children, Natalie Carroll (Joe) of Melbourne, FL and Adam Saunders (Sian) of Clyde, NC; her grandchildren, Charity Bowman, Spencer Bishop, Ashton Davidson and Bennett Carroll; her great grandchildren, Amelia Bowman, Alice Bowman, Addison Bishop, Avery Bowman and Samuel Davidson; her brother Bill Tippett (Charlanne); and her boyfriend Larry Drye.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM and at 1:45 PM at the New London Methodist Church (206 S Main St, New London, NC 28127). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
