She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Marshall Sides and Mamie Basinger Sides; her husband Floyd Mitchell Barringer; her son Billy Barringer; and her siblings, Mary Francis Thompson and Marshall "Pinky" Sides.

She is survived by: her children, Floyd Barringer (Tracy), Larry Barringer (Karen), Debra Morris and Denise Laxton (Mark); and her sister Tammy Sides. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren.
