She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Hummie Caudle and Valda Huneycutt Caudle; her husband John Wayne Fraley; her daughter Angela F. Ballard; her siblings, James Caudle, Boyce Caudle, Everett Caudle, Kathryn Ross and Edna Earnhardt; and her son-in-law Sidney Smith.
She is survived by: her daughter Debra Fraley Smith; her siblings, Dewey Caudle (Doris) of Concord and Fran Watson of Gold Hill; her grandchildren, Titus Russell (Nicole), Brett Ballard, Brooke Brown (Shayne), Amie Hooks (Garrett) and Hannah Ballard; and her great grandchildren, Gunnar Hooks, Alayna Russell, Jaxton Hooks and Baby Brown.
A memorial gathering will be held on Sunday, May 17th 2026 at the Sundays After Church. Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 21st 2026 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Stanly Funeral & Cremation Care - Albemarle (1835 Badin Rd, Albemarle, NC 28001). A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 22nd 2026 at 12:00 PM and at 3:00 PM at the New Mount Tabor United Methodist Church (40237 Millingport Rd, Richfield, NC 28137).
