She was predeceased by: her parents, Norman Bargholt and Julie Jelenik Bargholt; and her daughters, Gwen Newcomer and Kathy Williams. She is survived by: her daughter Tari Hanish of New Bern; her sister Judy McLafferty of Cleveland, OH; and her grandchildren, Becky Nolan, Brian Davis, Danny Byrd, Dustin Williams and Holly Byrd. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
