He is survived by: his wife Janice Jones Rich; his children, Jeremy Lee Rich (Taylor) of Kinston and Jennifer Rich Jacobs (Robert) of Deep Run; his grandchildren, Jason Robert Jacobs and Holden Rhett Rich; his nephew Jeffrey Lee Taylor (Mary); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Zackrey and Zoey; and his siblings, Mike, Teddye Park, Donald Ray Rich (Linda), Gregory Rich (Lisa), Sandra Stanley (Donald), Delores Padgett, Cynthia Phillips and Nelson Rich (June).
Visitation was held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Jones Funeral Home (137 Ervintown Rd, Richlands, NC 28574). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 4th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Jones Funeral Home, Richlands Chapel (137 Ervintown Rd, Richlands, NC 28574).
