It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Clayton Lawrence Heath Sr. of Riegelwood, North Carolina, who passed away on July 19, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Carey Heath and Lenna Heath; his siblings, Jimmie Heath, Elvin Ray Heath, Forrest Heath, Velma "Pat" Hargrove, Vera Russ, Mattie Settlemeyer and Mable Peterson; and also, Anne Heath (Lawrence) and Roberta Porter.
He is survived by: his significant other Deborah Tyner; his children, Dr. Jennifer Wynn (Mark), Danielle Blake (Jordan) and Lawrence Heath (Tammy); his grandchildren, Lauren Hruby (Carter), Clay Heath (Lauren), Nicholas Heath, Dr. Savanna Lee (Harrison), Alexis Heath, Haley Anne Tinney, Tessa Tinney, Ty Tinney, Lauren Wynn and Natalee Wynn; his great grandchildren, Kensington Hruby and Oliver Heath; and his sister Myrtle Bigford. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Greenlawn Memorial Park (1155 Shipyard Blvd, Wilmington, NC 28412). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Coble Chapel (1155 Shipyard Blvd, Wilmington, NC 28412).
