She was predeceased by: her parents, O. B. Overton and Helen Overton; her sister Patricia "Pat" Overton Irby; and her parents-in-law, David and Lucille Myrick.
She is survived by: her husband David; her sons, David G. Myrick II (Amy) and Jonathan Chad Myrick (Beth); her grandchildren, David G. Myrick III and Morgan Clary Myrick; her niece Denisa Irby Huser (Jeff); and her great-niece Cameron Huser Spurgeon (Chris).
