He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Brown and Thelma Brown; and his brothers, Oliver Brown, John Brown, Howard Brown and Larry Brown.
He is survived by: his wife Peggy Vincent Brown; his son Douglas MacArthur Brown Jr.; his siblings, Thelma Bowen, Barbara Wall, Robert Brown Jr., Marshall Brown (Becky) and David Brown (Lisa); and his close friends, Donnie Turner and Randy Boyce.
