Henry Manning Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Henry Manning (Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina), who passed away on January 4, 2026 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilkes Manning and Ruby Shearin Manning; and his siblings, Floyd Manning, Don Manning, Mrytice Manning White, Dean Manning Taylor and Dorothy Manning Hux.

He is survived by: his wife Clara "Deanie" Jones Manning; his children, Monty Manning (Carla), Craig Manning (Rhonda) and Laura Thompson; his grandchildren, Tonya Manning, Brooke Teele, Christina Hume (Joshua), Connor Manning, Jude Manning and Haylen Strickland; and his siblings, Frank Manning (Judy), Tiny Thompson and Louise Tilley. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other extended family members and friends.

In lieu of flowers, it is suggested that donations be made in Henry's memory to First Baptist Church of Gaston, Post Office Box 66, Gaston, NC 27832.
