He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth "Libby" Capps; his daughter Carol Capps Hahn (Rich) of Bracey Virginia; his stepsons, Raymond Wheeler Jr., Steven W. Wheeler and Christopher Wheeler; and his sisters, Ann Jones and Janie Susie Price (Jerry).
