He is survived by: his wife Rosa Mitchell Scott of Roanoke Rapids, NC; his children, James Tyrone Scott of Roanoke Rapids, NC, Rhonda Tillery Williams of Roanoke Rapids, NC, Shemika Tillery of Roanoke Rapids, NC, Alonzo Tillery of Roanoke Rapids, NC and Devon Tillery of Roanoke Rapids, NC; his siblings, Wilbert Earl Moody of Roanoke Rapids, NC, Lillie Mae Boone (John) of Richmond, VA and Jacqueline Underdue (Raymond) of Garysburg, NC; his siblings-in-law, Linda Mitchell and Leroy Moore; and his uncle Elaster Powell (Genetha) of Gaston, NC. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
