He was predeceased by: his father Ralph Floyd Dillard. He is survived by: his father-in-law Reid Hinson; his mother Doris Newsome Dillard (Newsome); his wife Diana; his children, Beth Smith (Jay) and Josh; his stepchildren, Kenneth Christy and Ashley Lynch; his sisters, Jessica Cress (Jim) and Monica Reigner (Randy); and his grandsons, Benjamin, Preston and Nolan. He is also survived by 4 nephews and 2 nieces.

Due to Covid-19, there will be no visitation or funeral service. A Celebration of Jeff's Life will be planned when there is less risk from the pandemic.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be sent to First Presbyterian Church, 15 E. 5th St., Roanoke Rapids, NC 27870.
