He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Rauhe (Danny) and Estelle Rauhe (Bobbie); and his siblings, Cherri Rauhe Steadman and James Rauhe (Fred). He is survived by: his children, Heather R. Miles (Robbie) of Roanoke Rapids and Christopher Rauhe (Nika) of Raleigh; his grandchildren, Kaylynn Miles, Madelyn Miles and Jayleigh Rauhe; and his siblings, Scott Rauhe (Janet) of Gibsonville, NC and Donna Cook (Don) of Arizona.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to any hospice organization of their choosing.
