It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Katherine Horne Collins of Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina, born in Halifax, North Carolina, who passed away on March 22, 2024, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Joseph B. Horne and Priscilla Balmer Horne; her sisters, Vickie H. Turner and Marie H. Barkley; and her son Edward Glenn Williams.

She is survived by : her sons, William Lee Williams (Carol) and Joseph Wayne Williams (Penny); and her siblings, Stella Ricks, Wanda H. Edwards (Vince) and Joseph B. Horne, Jr. (Grace). She is also survived by three grandchildren, four great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Donations may be made in her memory to the Roanoke Rapids Church of God in Roanoke Rapids, NC.
