She was predeceased by: her parents, Parthenia Jenkins and Thomas Jenkins; her grandmother Irene Whitfield Jones; and her children, Joann, Lance Corporal Thomas, Janice and Alvino.
She is survived by: her children, Clara and Robin; her grandchildren, Damien, Ingrid, Nytasha, Sojomo, Josiah, LaWanna, Jamea, Brendan and Tomeka; and her sons-in-law, Winfred, John and Ricky. She is also survived by extended family and many dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the H. D. Pope Funeral Home (520 Smith Church Rd, Roanoke Rapids, NC 27870). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 3:30 PM at the Shearin's Chapel Church Cemetery (1892 Thelma Rd, Roanoke Rapids, NC 27870).
