She was predeceased by: her parents, Thurman Carl Taylor and Rachel Davis Taylor; and her sister Kay Taylor Coggins. She is survived by: her husband Ronald Lewis Smith; and her son Jonathan Lewis Smith (Dolores). She is also survived by many numerous nieces, and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the New Hope Methodist Church (3609 US-158, Roanoke Rapids, NC 27870).
