He is survived by : his wife Brenda West; his children, Sammy "Cut Buddy", Steve West (Tammy) of Littleton and Brenda Kinton (Lee) of Youngsville; his grandchildren, Ashley West of Littleton and Brian Kinton (Madison) of Youngsville; and his siblings, Joe West (Gail) of Roanoke Rapids, Patricia "Pat" Collins (Elliot) of Emporia, Linda O'Briant (Thad) of Roanoke Rapids and Sheila "Kay" Ross of Roanoke Rapids.
