He was predeceased by : his parents, Jack D. King and Avis Odom King. He is survived by : his sons, Mark King (Addie), Tim King (Tesha) and Joe King (Amanda Hutson); his grandchild BoRay Cephus King; his sons, Jamie Santos (Nikki Ferrel), Justin Santos (Kristine), Jeremy Kristi Santos (Kaye), Kristen King Revelle (Shane), Jacob King (Brionna) and Paul King (Jenni Tutor); his great grandchild Ava Clements; and his grandchildren, Asa Revelle and Annsleigh Revelle.

A graveside service was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Bethlehem United Methodist Church (2216 NC-43, Warrenton, NC 27589).
