He is survived by: his wife Judy; his children, Tammie Shaw Johnson (Walter) of Halifax, Freddie W. Shaw (Cynthia) of Roanoke Rapids, Shane Johnson of Roanoke Rapids, Vivian Dickens of Roanoke Rapids and Chad Johnson (Rhonda) of Candler, NC; his grandchildren, Shellie Danielle Nelson of Nashville, Elizabeth Faye Shelton of Halifax, Anna Williams of Candler, NC, Vagan and Avery Johnson of Roanoke Rapids; his great grandchildren, Olivia Faye and Caleb William; and his siblings, Troy Leon Shaw (Lisa) of High Point, NC and Brenda Shaw Edwards (Bobby) of Emporia, VA. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
