She was predeceased by: her husband Ernest Delano Poplin; her sons, Marcus Lee Prevette and Gary Scott Prevette; her sisters, Joy Inez Walker and Judy Yvonne Combs; and her stepdaughter Amanda Poplin.
She is survived by: her daughters, Jeannie Moore (Tommy) of Roaring River and Tina Baker of Hickory; her stepdaughter Tina Jennings (Ronald) of Elkin; her grandchildren, Paige Maltba (Josh) of West Jefferson, Dustin Holcomb and Austin Cahill; her stepgrandchildren, Sophia Pardue of Winston Salem, Kayla Moore Forrest (Scott) of Harmony, Tommy Moore, Jr. of Faith, Taylor Barnes (Daniel) of Purlear and Justin Cahill of Vanceboro; and her great grandchildren, Kayson Laws of West Jefferson, Brantley Chastain of Roaring River, Cecilia Forrest of Harmony, Chloe Barnes of Purlear, Landon Barnes of Purlear, Carter Barnes of Purlear, Paisleigh Cahill of Vanceboro and Jaxson Cahill of Vanceboro.
