He is survived by: his children, Bobby Blackburn (Sherry) of Roaring River, Tracy Anderson of North Wilkesboro, Tandy Blackburn Mathis (Seth) of Charlotte and Tamara Blackburn Wiles (Evan) of Hays; his grandchildren, B. J., Kaitlin, Jayden, Ryan, Tyler, John Ross, Alec, Sterling, Montgomery and Everette; his great grandchildren, Rory, Jake and Jayda; his brother Jessie "Mink" Blackburn (Wilma) of Roaring River; and his sisters-in-law, Dixie Blackburn of Roaring River, Carolyn James of Wilkesboro and Kathy Dickens of Old Fort, Tennessee. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
