He was predeceased by: his mother Flossie Burns Phillips; his wife Judy Garner Phillips; his father Jessie Phillips; and his siblings, Edward Phillips, Darrell Phillips and Delois Phillips Moore.
He is survived by: his son Alan Phillips (Susan) of Johnson City, TN; his granddaughters, Addison Phillips and Campbell Phillips; and his sister-in-law Brenda Garner Pickler (Craig) of Robbins, NC. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Home of Brenda and Craig Pickler. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Acorn Ridge Baptist Church (288 Acorn Ridge Rd, Robbins, NC 27325).
