She is survived by: her husband Lewis Spencer; her children, Anthony Johnson (Beverly Blalock) and Lequita Bankole; her son-in-law Mamoud Bankole; her grandchildren, Naya Moore, Amari Johnson, Lizah Johnson, Jaylyn Johnson, Brooklyn Johnson, Aasyah Waters, Khalida Bankole, Kefilath Bankole, Olivia Johnson, Denali Johnson, Riley Johnson, Abrianna Johnson and Leighani Johnson; her great grandchild Lucas Johnson; her aunts, Louise Powell, Marian Brooks and Priscilla Freeman; her siblings, Shelby Mckeithen (Lenwood), Camilla Marsh (William), Dometha Powell and Jeffrey Johnson; and her uncle Ben Johnson. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at the New Zion Community Cemetery (1209 Smyrna Church Rd, Robbins, NC 27325).
