He was predeceased by: his parents, William "Willie" Walter and Flossie Williamson Ritter; and his spouse Donarose Garner. He is survived by: his son John W. Ritter; his daughter-in-law Andra "Carrie" Oliver Ritter; and his grandchildren, Jack, Hallie and Joseph Ritter.
In lieu of flowers, the family would suggest making a donation to Acorn Ridge Baptist Church or First Health Hospice.
