He was predeceased by: his parents, Boyce Dunlap and Dixie Dunlap of Robbins. He is survived by: his brother Dr. Glenn H. Dunlap (Pam) of Pinehurst; his sibling's children, Austin Dunlap (Meaghann) of Charlotte and Alicia Dunlap Oakes (Nathan); and his great-niece Rowan Oakes of Pinehurst.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church (1535 N Moore Rd, Robbins, NC 27325). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made to his church, Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church, who loved him well.
