She was predeceased by: her daughter Karen Upchurch; her husband Ralph Hunsucker; and her parents, Bill Chase and Margaret Chase. She is survived by: her children, Kimberly Beck, Carrie Beverly (Brian Beverly) and Eric Stanley (Shannon Stanley); her granddaughters, Connie McDermott (Jim), April Culberson, Angela Caviness, Lily Stanley and Piper Good; her great grandchildren, Leslie, Zoey Culberson, Ayla and June McDermott; her stepsons, Matt Hunsucker, Mark Hunsucker and Shane Hunsucker; her sisters, Debra Clark (Steve Clark) and Lisa Chase; her nieces, Michelle Strickland and Jennifer Jackson; and her great-nieces, Willow and River Morgan. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, extended family members, and dear friends.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 16th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Flint Hill Baptist Church (923 Flint Hill Church Rd, Robbins, NC 27325).
