He was predeceased by: his children, Dale Garner and Tammy Garner Hussey. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Inez Lambert.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 19th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Kennedy Funeral Home (241 N Middleton St, Robbins, NC 27325). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the New Testament Baptist Church (2219 N Moore Rd, Robbins, NC 27325). A committal service will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Pine Rest Cemetery.
