She is survived by: her sons, Dean Carpenter (Vickie) of Robbinsville and Mitch Carpenter (Jo) of Townsend, Tennessee; her grandchildren, Matthew Carpenter (Stacy) of Robbinsville, Cynthia Bird (Jeremiah) of Robbinsville, Shannon Eller (Micheal) of Robbinsville, Robin Nichols (Matthew) of Robbinsville, Michele Anderson (Darrell) of Robbinsville, Stephanie Carpenter of Robbinsville, Sara Carpenter of Robbinsville, Skyler Anderson of Robbinsville, Payton Anderson of Robbinsville and Crate Anderson of Robbinsville; her sister Jean Rogers Mabrey (Olen) of Connelly Springs; and her siblings-in-law, Avery Carpenter (Wanda), David Carpenter, Clinton Carpenter, Mary Rogers of Robbinsville and Kathleen Rogers of Robbinsville. She is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and many friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 28th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Townson-Smith Chapel (160 5 Point Rd, Robbinsville, NC 28771). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 28th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
