It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David James Hicks of Robbinsville, North Carolina, born in Andrews, North Carolina, who passed away on March 22, 2024, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his father Royal Aston Hicks. He is survived by : his mother Sue Hicks Queen; his wife Violet; his sons, Patrick Wayne Hicks and David Aston Hicks of Robbinsville, NC.; his sisters, Brenda Jackson (Don) and Susie Hicks of Clarksville, TN.; and his grandchildren, Josie Violet Hicks, Patrick Dean Hicks and Braxton Cole Hicks. He is also survived by his family and friends.
