She was predeceased by: her parents, Ed Stewart and Onita Hedrick Stewart; and the father of her child Patrick Haford Maxwell. She is survived by: her daughters, Meredith Maxwell Sharpe (Eddie) of Robbinsville, NC and Elaine Maxwell Stidd of Georgia; and her siblings, Ollie Adams (Eddie) of Robbinsville, NC and Nathan Stewart (Shirley) of Robbinsville, NC.. She is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
To watch her deteriorate from the brilliant, beautiful, Christian woman she was into the deplorable depths of a cruel disease we know as Alzheimer's, bordered on the precipice of what she and her loved ones could bear.
