She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Jones and Zetta Shope Jones; and her sister Lorene Walker. She is survived by: her husband Lowell Carringer; her sister Wanda Brooks (Marvin) of Robbinsville, NC; and her sibling's children, Pam Aderhold (Roy), Jimmy Walker, Mark Brooks and Matt Brooks.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 12th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at 20 Santeetlah Cemetery Rd, Robbinsville, NC 28771. A funeral service was held on Monday, January 12th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Santeetlah Baptist Church.
