She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas W. Gunn and Myrtle Sanders Gunn; her husband Maurice Kennedy; her son David Kennedy; and her sisters, Evelyn Gunn Roberson (Murphy) and Dorothy Gunn Bailey (Kenneth).
She is survived by: her son Larry Kennedy (Annette); her grandchildren, Laura Kirk (Robbie) of Madison, AL and Cole Kennedy of Atlanta, GA; her great grandchildren, Sarah, Samuel and Graham; her brother Tommy Gunn (Margaret) of Lena, MS.; and her caregiver Erin Collins.
