He was predeceased by: his parents, Boyd Phillips and Zora Lynn Phillips; and his brother Richard Gerald Phillips. He is survived by: his sister-in-law Martha Phillips; his sibling's children, David Gerald Phillips (Charity), Casey Boyd Phillips and Beth Phillips; his great-nephews, Aaron Gerald Phillips (Abbi), Daniel Harold Phillps and Isaac James Cole Phillips; Colter David Phillips.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Robbinsville Church of God (233 Long Creek Rd, Robbinsville, NC 28771).
