She was predeceased by: her father J. C. Pangle; and her husband Paul Brooks. She is survived by: her mother Ann Hooper; her sister Jan Brooks; her daughter Sherrie Brooks Orr (Todd); and her grandson Ethan Sadler.
A reception will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Townson-Smith Chapel (160 5 Point Rd, Robbinsville, NC 28771). Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
