She was predeceased by : her parents, Rev. Frank James Sr. and Hollis Elizabeth Dockery (Sis); and her siblings, Frank James Jr., Christine Gregory and Emma Jean Stewart.
She is survived by : her husband Ray Millsaps; her sister Denise; her brother-in-law Jodie Ensor of Maryville, TN; her son Gary; her daughter-in-law Susie West of Nashville, TN; her daughter Cathy; her son-in-law Marlon Jackson of Robbinsville, NC; her grandchildren, Bucky (Mckenzie Jackson), Kyle West of Texas and Kaleb (Hannah West); her great grandchildren, Gracey Jackson, Bucky Jackson Jr., Colton, Jace and Soraya West; and her great great grandchild Bentley Crisp.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to Long Creek Baptist Church, P.O. Box 378, Robbinsville, NC 28771 in Maxine's Memory.
