He is survived by: his wife Sharon Stewart Waldroup; his daughters, Haley Waldroup Brooks (Jamie) of Robbinsville, NC and Lacey Waldroup Lambert of Whittier, NC; his grandsons, Tyler Brooks (Ashley), Wesley Brooks (Tilya), Connor Lambert and Blake Lambert; his great grandchildren, Emberley Brooks and Millie Brooks; and his brothers, Jim Waldroup of Alabama, Bill Waldroup of Robbinsville, NC. and Lonnie Waldroup of Robbinsville, NC..
Visitation was held on Sunday, June 1st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Mt. Nebo Baptist Church (343 Dick Branch Rd, Robbinsville, NC 28771). A funeral service was held on Sunday, June 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
