She was predeceased by : her parents, Roy Clark and Lillian Whitehurst Clark; her husband Samuel "Ashley" Roebuck, Sr.; her grandson Jason Stutts; her husbands, Ashely Roebuck and James Whitley; and her siblings, Hyman, Vance Lee, Delmus, Ronald, Russell Clark, Louise Ashley, Doris Stocks and Barbara Jean Leggett.

She is survived by : her caregiver James; her children, Samuel Ashley Roebuck, Jr. (Lisa) of Robersonville, NC and Joan Roebuck Stutts (Tony) of Wake Forest, NC.; her grandsons, James Roebuck of Robersonville, NC, Sam Roebuck of Denton, NC and Nicholas Stutts of Raleigh, NC; and her great grandchildren, Lilianna Roebuck, Grady Roebuck, Faye Roebuck, Finley Stutts and Emerson Stutts.
