We are sad to announce that, on January 18, 2026, at the age of 83, Frederick Nelson (Robersonville, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert B. Nelson and Mae Dell Leggett Nelson of Robersonville, NC.; his son Frederick L. Nelson Jr.; and his sister Margaret Nelson Wynne. He is survived by: his wife Frankie E. Nelson; his daughter Rae (David) of Conetoe; his granddaughters, Emilee Moore of Raleigh and Alanna Moore of Wilmington; and his siblings, Joe Nelson (Nanci) of Clayton, Benny Nelson (Shelby) of Greenville and Dell Nelson Hagwood (Jimmy) of Bear Grass.
