With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Albert Junior Purvis of Rockingham, North Carolina, who passed away on April 16, 2024 at the age of 54. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his father James Francis Purvis. He is survived by : his mother Barbara Harden Purvis; his wife Gwendolyn "Gwen" Stutts Purvis; his children, Adrian Purvis (Savanna), Jonathan Purvis (Shelby) and Hallie Purvis; his grandchildren, Jaxson Purvis, Sophia Purvis, Eli Stewart, Charlotte Purvis, Chloe Purvis and Leon Stewart; and his brothers, James "J. R." Purvis and Joe Purvis.

A celebration of life was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the Carter Funeral Home- Ellerbe (143 Church St, Ellerbe, NC 28338).
