It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Annie Elizabeth Thompson (Rockingham, North Carolina), who passed away on October 6, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William E. McDonald and Catherine Blue McDonald; her husband Jack Thompson; and her daughters, Sharon Wilson and Lori Ann Thompson.
She is survived by: her children, Nicky Thompson (Debbie) of Rockingham, NC, Steve Thompson (Karen) of Rockingham, NC and Diane Lucas (Del) of Charlotte, NC; her sister Sarah Covington of Ellerbe, NC; her grandchildren, Brandon Wilson (Susan), Matthew Wilson (Stephanie), Tiffany Hayne (Jeff), Danielle Lucas, Jan Hawkins (Chris), Holly Page, Jonathan Thompson (Lauren) and Michael Lucas (Taylor); her great grandchildren, Jack Hawkins, Mina Hayne, Reese Hayne, Ava Eubanks, Dawson Wilson, MacKenzie Wilson, Felicity Wilson and Malachi Wilson; her great great grandchild Conner Wilson; and her friends, Nicky, Debbie Thompson and Hwy.
